A postmodern film is a film that tries to subvert the mainstream conventions of narrative structure and characteriazation by reversing typical portrayals of race, gender, and class with the goal of creating something that does not abide by traditional narrative expression.

The Lego Movie is as postmodern film as it contains a mixture of different genres (sci-fi, fantasy, comedy, romance, ect) and reverses stereotypical character roles, as Emmet is the hero despite being a normal and ordinary member of society, while his sidekick Wyldstyle is much stronger than him. There is also a lot of intertextuality throughout the film, as the entire plot is a simpler version of the plot of the Matrix, and there are a lot of crossovers with other characters from popular media.
